Ingredients
- 2 kg plain yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 2 liters olive oil

Method
- Add the salt to the yogurt; you can adjust the amount of salt to taste.
- Pour the yogurt into a cloth bag and tie it tightly.
- Place the labneh cloth bag in a sieve, put a weight on top, and place it in the refrigerator (not the freezer) for one day.
- Turn the labneh bag, change its orientation, and place the weight on it for a second day.
- Divide the resulting mixture into several small balls and arrange them on a clean cloth; leave them like this for one full day or until completely dry.
- Coat the labneh balls in sesame seeds, nigella seeds (black seed), or dried za'atar on all sides, then place them in an airtight jar.
- Repeat the previous step until all the mixture is used, then cover the balls with olive oil, seal the jar, and store it at room temperature.
