How to Make Kamouna Spice Blend
Kamouna spice blend is a richly flavored mix that gives kibbeh and faraqa their distinctive taste. The Kamouna mix can be kept vegetarian, using only tomatoes, onions, and olive oil.

- Fine bulgur
- Salt
- Dried onion
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Grind the dried onion with a little salt and the fine bulgur. Then grind the cumin with the bulgur and add the mint, marjoram, basil, and hot pepper.
- Spread the Kamouna on a wide tray and leave it for some time until it dries; it can be used immediately or placed in freezer bags until needed.
