Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 3 cups chopped lettuce
  • 1 bunch mint, chopped
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 1 small bunch mixed young greens (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons green olives
  • 3 tablespoons pomegranate seeds for garnish
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 cucumbers
  • (radishes — red or white — as desired)
  • Fattoush dressing
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • Olive oil (to taste)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses for garnish
  • 1 pita loaf, fried (or toasted)

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Wash all the vegetables and dry them well
  2. Cut all the vegetables into large pieces
  3. Mix the dressing ingredients for the fattoush and pour it over the vegetables or fattoush salad
  4. Add the fried (or toasted, as desired) bread
  5. Garnish the fattoush with pomegranate seeds, pomegranate molasses and more fried or toasted bread
