Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/2 liter milk
  • buttercream or liquid whipping cream combined with butter
  • nuts
  • shredded coconut
  • chocolate shavings
  • food coloring

Method

  1. Beat the sugar with the butter using an electric mixer.
  2. Add the eggs and continue beating until the sugar dissolves... then add the vanilla and flour and beat.
  3. Next, add the baking powder and milk and beat for about 10 minutes.
    Timers: 10 min
  4. Grease the baking pan with butter, then dust it lightly with flour to prevent sticking.
  5. Pour the cake batter into the pan and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about half an hour.
  6. Let the cake cool, then remove the brown layer and crumble it with your hands. Add cocoa powder and buttercream to the cake crumbs and mix well.
  7. Roll the cake mixture into balls, then dip them in nuts, shredded coconut, or chocolate as desired. You can also use food coloring as you like.
  8. Note: You can replace buttercream with dessert whipping cream and add butter to it.
