Beef stroganoff is a Russian dish... a recipe that has become extremely popular and can also be prepared with chicken.
Ingredients
- 1 kilo beef fillet or tender beef, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Method
- Place the beef strips in a bowl, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and mix well so the meat is evenly seasoned.
- Heat the oil in a pan over the heat and fry the onion until softened.
- Add the beef strips over the onion and stir until they change color.
- Add the cooking cream over the beef, stir, and leave the beef stroganoff to simmer over the heat until the meat is cooked through.
- Serve the beef stroganoff with fluffy rice with vermicelli or plain rice on the side.
