Ingredients
- Toasted bread
- 1 avocado
- Lemon juice, to taste
- Finely chopped onion
- A pinch of salt
- Garlic yogurt sauce
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- 1 tomato, finely chopped and drained of excess liquid
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
- Raw nuts - optional

Method
- Toast the bread, break it into pieces, and spread it on the serving plate.
- Mash the avocado after removing the flesh from the skin and removing the pit. Mash it with a little citrus juice to preserve its green color.
- Add the chopped onion and salt to the mashed avocado and mix, then add only two tablespoons of garlic yogurt and mix.
- Spread the avocado mixture over the toasted bread, then add the whole chickpeas and the tomato, and finally the garlic yogurt.
- Garnish with nuts, parsley, chickpeas, and tomato, or as desired.
- Serve the avocado fatteh immediately.
