Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 125 g powdered sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 125 g butter, room temperature
- 1 egg, room temperature
- Decoration:
- jam
- powdered sugar
- chocolate
- pistachios

Method
- Sift the flour, powdered sugar, salt, vanilla, and yeast until the dry ingredients are well combined.
- Add the butter and rub with your hands until it crumbly and the butter is integrated with the dry ingredients.
- Add the egg and knead to obtain a cohesive dough.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about half an hour.
- Shape the sablé and place on parchment on a tray.
- Bake in the oven until done.
- When cooled, decorate with jam and powdered sugar or melted chocolate and pistachios as desired.
