Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes
  • Salt
  • Olive oil
  • Kibbeh spice mix (kamouna):
  • Bulgur
  • Ready-made kibbeh spice mix
  • Marjoram
  • Fresh mint
  • Dried onion
  • Fresh red and green peppers

Method

  1. Boil the potatoes until completely cooked.
  2. Drain them, then mash with a fork.
  3. Add about 1/2 cup of the prepared kibbeh spice mix (prepare the mix ahead by blending all the mix ingredients until smooth).
  4. Adjust the salt and knead the spice mix into the mashed potatoes.
  5. Spread the potato kibbeh on a plate and serve drizzled with olive oil.
