Nutella cake... a simple cake whose success lies in its simplicity :) especially since it's chocolate

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup lemon zest
  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 200 g Nutella or about 3/4 cup

Method

  1. Place the eggs in an electric mixer and beat on high speed. Add the vanilla to the eggs
  2. After a short while, add the sugar and beat until it dissolves and the mixture turns pale
  3. Add the melted butter, warm milk, and lemon zest, and beat
  4. When the mixture is combined, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder and mix. Finally add the Nutella and beat
  5. Grease a cake pan with oil and dust with flour ... then pour the Nutella cake batter into it
  6. Preheat the oven (top and bottom heat) and bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes or as needed, watching carefully
    Timers: 30 min
  7. When the cake has cooled, turn it out of the pan and serve at room temperature
