Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 cup clementine juice
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Method

  1. Using an electric mixer, beat the eggs (at room temperature) with the vanilla for 3 minutes before adding the sugar and continuing to beat.

  2. When the mixture becomes creamy and white, add the yogurt, orange zest, and juice and beat, then add the oil and beat.
  3. Finally, sift the flour and baking powder and add them in batches over the cake mixture, beating until well combined.
  4. Grease the pan with oil, dust it with flour, and pour in the cake batter.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C for 5 minutes before placing the pan on the middle rack and bake for about 45 minutes or according to your oven.

  6. Test the cake with a small wooden skewer after at least 30 minutes in the oven..
