Easy Mirinda cake — you’ll definitely like it!

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 medium teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 medium teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup + 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn oil
  • 2 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 1 cup Mirinda (orange soda)
  • 2½ cups flour

Method

  1. Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla.
  2. When the mixture becomes pale, add the liquid ingredients and beat.
  3. Fold in the dry ingredients (sifted) and mix—use the spatula to fold from the bottom up if preferred.
  4. Grease the pan with a little corn oil and dust with a little flour, then pour in the Mirinda cake batter.
  5. Bake the pan in the center of the oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes or until the cake is done, depending on your oven power.
    Timers: 45 min
  6. Brown the top of the Mirinda cake.
  7. Let the cake cool to room temperature before serving.
