Crispy Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

- 1 kilo bone-in chicken
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- zest of 1 lemon
- 1 spoon chili powder or hot pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- a pinch ground cardamom
- a pinch ground ginger
- a pinch paprika or ground red pepper
- a pinch nutmeg
- salt to taste
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup finely crushed cornflakes
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Wash the chicken well and place it in a colander.
- Mix the chicken marinade ingredients until you have a smooth sauce.
- Place the chicken pieces in the marinade and let them soak for at least 2 hours. You can also marinate the chicken overnight before cooking.Timers: 120 min
- Place regular flour in a bowl; you can also use special crispy flour if available.
- Coat the marinated chicken pieces in the flour and cornflakes mixture, turning them to ensure they are covered with flour and cornflakes on all sides.
- Fry the chicken pieces in hot oil, but when adding the chicken lower the heat and fry over low heat until cooked through.
