Chocolate cookies are one of the easiest treats that kids love... and they're delicious with coffee.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- a pinch of salt
- 2 cups brown or white sugar
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup sifted cocoa powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- M&Ms

Method
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla until well combined.
- Add the dry ingredients and fold in with a spatula or spoon.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Shape the dough into rounds and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Top each cookie with a few M&Ms
- Bake on the lower rack in a medium oven for 10 to 12 minutes.Timers: 12 min
- Then switch on the oven's top heat (broil) for about 3 minutes only.Timers: 3 min
- When you remove the tray from the oven, cover it immediately with a clean cloth to keep the cookies soft.
- Allow to cool completely before serving.
