Chocolate Cookies

Chocolate cookies — a wonderful recipe everyone will love. Adults can’t get enough of these cookies, and kids will adore them even more.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1/3 cup brown sugar + 1/3 cup white sugar
- or
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup softened butter (about 115 g)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- Chocolate chips (for decoration)
- Colored chocolate chips (for decoration)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- A pinch of salt

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Beat the sugar with the butter until the mixture is fluffy and pale
- Add the egg and vanilla and beat again until combined
- In a bowl, put the flour, baking soda, cocoa and starch and sift them together, then add them to the butter mixture and stir with a spatula or spoon
- Add the brown chocolate chips to the cookie mixture and stir
- Shape the cookies to the desired size, keeping in mind they will spread during baking
- Press the cookie rounds and decorate them with colorful chocolate chips
- Bake the chocolate cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12 minutesTimers: 12 min
- Allow the chocolate cookies to cool to room temperature
