Chicken with cooking cream, or white sauce... the taste is a story, and everyone who loves modern food will adore it. Best of all, this recipe is practical and ready in under an hour!

Ingredients

  • boneless chicken breast
  • Sautéed vegetables:
  • broccoli
  • carrot
  • baby corn
  • baby potatoes
  • The white sauce (white sauce):
  • one small carton cooking cream
  • mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 liter liquid milk
  • salt
  • white pepper
  • black pepper
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • Potato purée:
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup liquid milk

Method

  1. Fry the sliced chicken breast in butter and oil until the pieces are golden.
  2. Remove the chicken from the pan and start making the white mushroom sauce.
  3. In the same oil and butter, sauté the finely chopped onion a little, then add the crushed garlic until softened.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté as well.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon flour and stir quickly, then add the cream and milk and continue stirring quickly in a circular motion.
  6. Add the butter, spices, and chicken bouillon cube and mix well, then leave the sauce over low heat until it boils and turn off the heat.
  7. In a pan, prepare the sautéed vegetables: add the carrots, broccoli, baby corn, and baby potatoes, add a little water, cover, and lower the heat until they are cooked.
  8. Once the vegetables are cooked, discard any remaining water in the pan.
  9. At the same time, prepare the purée: boil the potatoes, peel them, and mash them well, then place them in a pot over the heat.
  10. Add the butter, salt, white pepper, and milk to the mashed boiled potatoes, mix, and leave over low heat until all the ingredients are heated through and the purée comes together.
  11. Serve the fried chicken breast with the white mushroom sauce, alongside the sautéed vegetables and mashed potatoes. You can substitute the purée with white rice.
