Chicken Tikka with Vegetables — a very tasty, hearty recipe
Ingredients
- 2 kg boneless, skinless chicken
- 3 cups yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- A medium piece of fresh ginger, grated
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika (sweet red pepper powder)
- 1 level tablespoon turmeric
- A pinch of white pepper
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
- Vegetables:
- Peas
- Carrots
- Potatoes
- Salt
- A small piece of butter
- A pinch of white pepper

Method
- Mix all the marinade ingredients well and leave the cleaned, drained chicken to marinate in it for at least 4 hours.
- Drain it and reserve the marinade.
- Heat the grill on the stove or a nonstick pan and grill the tikka pieces just until they take on color.
- Place the pieces in a baking tray and spoon over the reserved marinade, then put the tray in the oven for about half an hour.
- On the side, in a nonstick pan, put the vegetables you want, whole or chopped, with white pepper, salt, and butter, and sauté over low heat until cooked.
- Serve the chicken tikka with the sautéed vegetables.
