\r\nPreparation:\r\n\r\nStart by frying the onion and garlic in a pot with a little vegetable oil....\r\nWhen the onion turns golden, add the sliced mushrooms and the chicken, well washed and cut, and sauté for a few minutes until the chicken and mushrooms color.\r\nAdd the mustard and soy sauce, and keep stirring until the chicken absorbs all the flavors and the mustard sticks to the bottom of the pot...\r\nThen add all the cooking cream.\r\nLet the mixture simmer over low heat for about half an hour, or until the chicken is fully cooked.\r\nAdd the lemon juice to cut the richness of the cream.\r\nTurn off the heat.\r\nServe the chicken Stroganoff with white rice or rice with vermicelli and a pinch of black pepper...\r\n\r\nThis recipe comes from the Shou Tabkhin Today kitchen. Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken, washed and cut into long strips or large squares as desired
  • Large dry onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (it's preferable to omit added salt when using soy sauce in cooking because it is salty)
  • Mushrooms, washed and sliced
  • A large container of cooking cream
  • Lemon juice

Method

  1. Start by frying the onion and garlic in a pot with a little vegetable oil....
  2. When the onion begins to turn pale, add the sliced mushrooms, then the well-washed, cut chicken, and sauté the chicken and mushrooms with the onion for a few minutes until they change color..
  3. Add the mustard and soy sauce and continue stirring the mixture until the chicken absorbs all the flavors and the mustard starts to stick to the bottom of the pot...
  4. Then add the entire amount of the cooking cream.
  5. Leave the mixture over low heat for about half an hour or until the chicken is completely cooked.
  6. Add the lemon juice to cut the richness of the cream.
  7. Turn off the heat.
