- Chicken seasoning
- Flour
- Black pepper
- Cardamom powder
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- Cloves

Method
- Wash the chicken pieces, add salt and chicken seasoning, and coat them with a very light dusting of flour, then brown them in oil.
- Place the chicken pieces in a new pot and add a pinch of each of the other spices, plus an extra pinch of chicken seasoning.
- Add a whole peeled onion, chopped carrots, and bay leaves, then cover the pieces with water.
- Let the water simmer gently until the chicken is completely cooked through.
- Add the salt and lemon juice.
- Boil the chicken pieces for one more minute, then remove from the heat and discard the onion and bay leaves.
- Serve with bulgur with vermicelli or fluffy rice with vermicelli.
- Note: You can add chicken fillet pieces with the bone-in chicken, but the important thing is to have a generous amount of bone-in chicken so you get a better flavor and a more nourishing broth.
