Cherry clafoutis. . One of the very delicious French desserts! Make the most of cherry season, or use cherry compote, to prepare this delicious treat.
Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- 170 g sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 100 g melted butter
- 200 g flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- cherries
- a handful of chocolate chips

Method
- Whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla on high speed until the volume doubles
- Add the butter and beat briefly, then add the flour and baking powder after sifting them. Add them in two batches and fold with a spatula or wooden spoon from bottom to top without circular stirring so the batter doesn't deflate
- When the batter is uniform... divide it into the molds after greasing them with butter and dusting with flour... distribute the batter into individual molds, and if unavailable, put all the batter into one large pan
- Place one pitted cherry on top of each piece and sprinkle some chocolate chips on the surface as well
- Bake the cherry clafoutis in a preheated oven at 170°C for 15 minutes
- Let the clafoutis cake cool before serving
