Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff, whether made with beef or chicken, is a Russian classic that has become popular worldwide. There are many ways to prepare this dish; this is one tasty beef Stroganoff method you should try.
Ingredients

- Thin slices of beef steak
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Fresh mushrooms
- 2 onions
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon seven-spice blend
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups heavy cream
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Method

- First, sear the thin beef slices in a bit of butter mixed with oil.
- In another pot, prepare the Stroganoff sauce. Sauté the sliced onion in a little butter, then add the mushrooms (fresh or canned, thickly sliced).
- Season the onion and mushrooms with salt, black pepper, and the remaining spices to taste. Sauté until browned.
- Separately, dissolve the flour in water to form a thickening liquid. Place the meat over the onion-mushroom mixture and stir for a few minutes, then pour the flour-and-water mixture over them. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- If more liquid is needed, add water at this stage. Simmer on low heat until the beef is tender.
- Finally, add the cooking cream and simmer for a few minutes, then finish with chopped green parsley.
- Beef Stroganoff is best served with white rice.
