Ingredients
- 1 kg very tender beef (thin-cut)
- Vegetable oil
- Balsamic vinegar
- Shawarma spice mix
- 2 large onions
- Sweet bell pepper (any color: red, green, or yellow)
- Tomato
- Tartar (Tartour) sauce:
- 1 cup tahini
- Water
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- 1 clove crushed garlic (optional)
- How to make the tartar (Tartour) sauce:
- Whisk the ingredients together. It's important to add the right amount of water to reach a medium-thin consistency, similar to ayran.

Method
- Slice the beef into thin strips and add vegetable oil, half a cup of balsamic vinegar, shawarma spices, and salt. You can leave it marinating for 10 hours in the mixture, or at least 2 hours.Timers: 600 min, 120 min
- The next day: slice the onions into long strips, do the same for the peppers, and slice the tomato. Add the vegetables on top of the marinated meat.
- Mix well and place the shawarma in a baking tray. Cover the tray with aluminum foil and preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Bake for only 40 minutes.Timers: 40 min
