Avocado cocktail — one of the tastiest smoothies. Make it at home when avocados are available for a fresher taste than shop-bought drinks

Ingredients

  • 1 kg ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 1/2 cup water

Method

  1. Cut each avocado in half with a knife, remove the pit and scoop out the flesh with a spoon.
  2. Place the avocado flesh and the other ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the avocado cocktail into glasses, spoon a layer of clotted cream on top and garnish with nuts.
  4. Serve chilled from the fridge with honey or syrup if desired.
  5. You can also top with fresh fruit as desired.
