Apple and Cinnamon Cake with Toffee Sauce

A soft apple and cinnamon cake with toffee sauce. This easy-to-make recipe is very delicious. Try it and it will surely be a hit with your family and children.

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • / 1 cup warm liquid milk
  • 2 and a half cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate
  • A pinch of salt
  • 4 apples, peeled and grated

  1. Mix with the apples:
  2. 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  3. 3 tablespoons fine sugar
  4. 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  5. Finely ground almonds, as desired
  6. Whisk the eggs with the vanilla, vinegar, and sugar well, then add the oil and milk while continuing to whisk. Sift in the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate, and salt...
  7. Mix the ingredients well until combined. Pour into a cake pan (after greasing it with a little oil and dusting it with flour). Then top the batter with the apple mixture combined with cinnamon, fine sugar, and cocoa, and sprinkle with finely ground almonds (optional).
  8. Place the pan in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes, depending on the oven's strength.

  9. After the cake is baked, decorate it with the toffee sauce.
  10. Place 1 and 1/4 cups sugar over medium heat. Once it melts, add 50 grams butter with 1 cup warm milk and 1 tub qeshta (clotted cream).
  11. After adding the ingredients, the sugar will turn into a solid mass. Continue stirring well until the sugar dissolves... Leave the toffee to cool, then decorate the cake with it.
