Ingredients:

2 eggs, at room temperature 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup warm milk 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 teaspoons baking powder 12 plain biscuits, or as needed for the size of the pan (we used a small Pyrex dish) 2 apples A pinch of cinnamon A handful of walnuts For garnish: Powdered sugar

Preparation method:

Beat the eggs with the vanilla, sugar, and oil well until the sugar dissolves.
Sift the flour and baking powder, add them to the mixture, then add the milk and mix until combined.
Place the biscuit pieces in a Pyrex dish greased with butter and dusted with flour.
Peel the apples, cut them, and arrange the pieces over the biscuits in the Pyrex dish.
Sprinkle the cinnamon over the apples, then the walnuts, then pour in the egg and flour mixture.
Smooth the surface until even.
Place the Pyrex in the oven at 200°C for only 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 180°C (turn on both the top and bottom heat).
When the apple, biscuit, cinnamon, and walnut cake is done, remove the Pyrex from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes, then sprinkle powdered sugar over the top.
Serve the cake once it has cooled to room temperature.
