Ingredients
- 1 kg spinach, cleaned, washed, chopped, and drained
- ½ kg meat, cut into small cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- tablespoons of vegetable oil or ghee
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt, or to taste
- 1 tsp ground sumac
- ½ tsp hot red pepper (optional)

Method
- Put oil or ghee in a frying pan or large pot and add the meat pieces; stir briefly until the meat changes color.
- Add salt and pepper, stir, then leave the small meat pieces over low heat until they are cooked through.
- Add the onion and stir until it softens, then add the spinach, stirring until it wilts as well.
- Then sprinkle sumac, black pepper, and hot pepper, and adjust the salt.
- Cover the pot and let the spinach stew simmer until cooked.
- Serve it with fluffy rice with vermicelli.
