Beef and Green Bean Stew
Beef and green bean stew is one of the most traditional dishes, easy and quick to prepare. This dish is perfect for the whole family, especially for young kids after a long day at school.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Beef chunks
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 garlic cloves
- a bunch of fresh cilantro
- tomato paste
- water
- pinch of salt
- 1 kg green beans, fresh or frozen
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Cut the meat into 'sparrow head' shapes. The shape is shown in the accompanying photo.
- Put the meat in a pot over the heat and stir until the liquid dries and the color changes.
- Add the butter, crushed garlic, and chopped fresh coriander.
- Stir the mixture for a few minutes. Add tomato paste with water.
- Add salt and, if desired, a pinch of black pepper.
- When the meat is cooked and the sauce has thickened, add the washed green beans.
- Leave them for about 10 minutes, then remove from the heat. Serve the green bean stew with the red sauce alongside white rice with vermicelli.Timers: 10 min
