Easy potato stew — a traditional, flavorful dish
Ingredients
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
- Meat pieces
- A little butter
- Crushed garlic
- Fresh chopped coriander (cilantro)
- 5 cups hot water (or as needed)
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- Salt

Method
- Fry the potatoes and set them aside
- In a pot, add the meat and fry it until some of its liquid evaporates
- Add butter, the crushed garlic, and the coriander and stir
- Add about 5 cups of hot water with the tomato sauce and stir, then let them boil until the meat is cooked
- Add the previously fried potatoes with a pinch of salt, then let them boil for only 5 minutes so the potatoes remain intact and are not overcookedTimers: 5 min
- Serve the fluffy rice with vermicelli alongside the easy potato stew
