Shrimp Appetizers
Appetizers are elegant dishes that complete any feast and are perfect for serving when you have guests for a light dinner. The presentation and garnishing are part of the dish’s appeal, and this shrimp with dip recipe is a perfect example.

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Shrimp
- Garlic powder
- Mayonnaise
- Ketchup
- Hot sauce
- Salt and spices
- Vinegar
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Wash the shrimp well after cleaning and removing the black vein, but keep the tail and shell.
- Sprinkle the shrimp with salt and a spice mix of black pepper, paprika and garlic powder, then sauté them in a little oil until browned and cooked. (Shrimp doesn't need long on the heat.)
- Prepare the dipping sauce: mix ketchup and mayonnaise with hot sauce (sriracha), add two drops of vinegar, a pinch of salt and a pinch of black pepper.
- Serve the shrimp as you like, but the accompanying photo shows a pretty presentation: put a little sauce in a small separate dish for serving, place a shrimp on the sauce attractively, and you can add a sprinkling of dill on the shrimp as a garnish.
