Colorful Pasta with Basil and Spinach
Colorful pasta with basil sauce and fresh green spinach leaves in an unusual recipe. Very delicious, and perfect as a main dish or for a special dinner. It can also be served alongside steak or grilled chicken breast.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1 bag colorful pasta or plain pasta
- Black olives
- Basil cream or (ground basil + any available kind of nuts + olive oil)
- 1 green sweet pepper
- 1 red sweet pepper
- 1 yellow sweet pepper
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Lemon juice
- Olive oil
- Small spinach leaves, optional
- Mozzarella cheese, diced or sliced
- Garnish
- Chopped parsley
- Cherry tomatoes

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
- Drain it and leave it aside to cool.
- Cut the bell pepper into slices and add them on top of the cooked pasta in the serving bowl.
- Add cream or basil sauce as available, and salt, oil, lemon juice, black pepper, spinach leaves, pitted sliced black olives, and cheese pieces and mix.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of parsley and cherry tomatoes and serve, or refrigerate until serving.
