Ingredients

  • Dough
  • 1 kilo flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons yeast
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 tablespoons milk powder
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 2 cups lukewarm water / or more or less, as needed depending on the flour
  • Filling
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 cup olives
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup kasseri cheese

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. We start by preparing the dough.. Mix all the dry ingredients, then add the vinegar and oil and rub together
  2. Then knead with warm water to get a soft dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, then cover it with a cloth
  3. Let the dough rest for an hour or more as needed
  4. When the dough has risen, divide it into two parts, then roll or stretch the pieces into thin rectangular shapes
  5. Spread the two rectangles with pizza sauce, then distribute the corn, mushrooms, and chopped olives, and finally sprinkle the cheese evenly
  6. Roll the dough into logs, then cut into round pieces about 2 cm thick
  7. Arrange the pieces on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or a tray lightly greased with a little oil
  8. Let them rest for half an hour, then top with a little kasseri cheese
  9. Bake the pizza rolls in a preheated oven at 200 C on the middle rack, with heat from above and below.. They need about 15 minutes, or until cooked through and the cheese is lightly browned
