  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup custard powder
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Method

  1. Beat the eggs for 2 minutes, then add the sugar and beat until dissolved.
    Timers: 2 min
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and the mashed bananas, then mix until combined.
  3. Grease the pan lightly with oil and dust with flour, then pour in the banana custard cake batter.
  4. Bake on the middle rack at 180°C (350°F) for about 40 minutes, or adjust time according to your oven.

  5. Let the cake cool completely before serving.
  6. Optionally dust with powdered sugar before serving.
