Mushroom and Feta Quiche

Mushroom and feta quiche is a savory tart recipe and one of the most famous French pastry dishes. It is an easy and delicious recipe that will beautifully dress your table and delight your family and guests. Give it a try!

  • Ready-made quiche dough or shortcrust pastry, store-bought or homemade *
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms
  • 1 cup feta cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt + black pepper
  • 1 cup cooking cream

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cold butter (butter is always half the amount of flour according to the quantity you wish to prepare)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons cold water (water as needed for the dough)
  • How to make the quiche dough
  • Rub the flour with the butter (the butter must be cold), add a pinch of salt and water until it forms a cohesive dough. Put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Roll the dough into the tart pan and bake it for 10 minutes, making sure topr
  • How to prepare the mushroom and cheese quiche
  • 'pâte brisée' or shortcrust pastry
  • Dock the dough with a fork so it does not puff up during baking; you can also add some baking weights... bake the dough in the oven for about 15 minutes.
  • Remove the pastry from the oven and arrange slices of mushrooms and chopped feta pieces on top as desired.
  • Remove the mushroom and feta quiche from the oven and serve hot after garnishing with a sprinkle of fresh parsley or as desired.

  1. Pour the egg and cream mixture over the mushrooms and cheese. Place the mushroom quiche in a hot oven for about 35 minutes, or until the crust and filling are fully cooked.
