Chocolate cookies — a wonderful recipe everyone will love. Adults can’t get enough of these cookies, and kids will adore them even more.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar + 1/3 cup white sugar
  • or
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup softened butter (about 115 g)
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • Chocolate chips (for decoration)
  • Colored chocolate chips (for decoration)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • A pinch of salt

Method

  1. Beat the sugar with the butter until the mixture is fluffy and pale
  2. Add the egg and vanilla and beat again until combined
  3. In a bowl, put the flour, baking soda, cocoa and starch and sift them together, then add them to the butter mixture and stir with a spatula or spoon
  4. Add the brown chocolate chips to the cookie mixture and stir
  5. Shape the cookies to the desired size, keeping in mind they will spread during baking
  6. Press the cookie rounds and decorate them with colorful chocolate chips
  7. Bake the chocolate cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12 minutes

  8. Allow the chocolate cookies to cool to room temperature
