Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Shape the kofta into patties and fry them with a little olive oil.
  2. Thin the tahini with water, add lemon juice and salt and whisk to obtain a loose sauce; the sauce must be loose because it will thicken when it boils.
  3. Arrange half of the kofta patties and slices of raw potato, spread the tahini sauce, adjust the salt, and place the dish or pot in the oven.
  4. When the mixture boils, reduce the heat and let it simmer on low heat so the potatoes cook through.
  5. Serve it with rice.
