Pickled green beans with walnuts .. a guaranteed homemade recipe
Ingredients
- 1 kilo green beans
- Red and green sweet peppers half a kilo
- Walnuts, as desired
- 1 cup crushed garlic
- 1 tablespoon hot pepper, as desired
- 1 tablespoon sweet pepper paste
- Coarse salt, 1 tablespoon or to taste
- Olive oil + vegetable oil for pickling the beans

Method
- Cut the green beans or leave them whole, then put them in boiling water for ten minutes and drain; rinse with cold water, drain well and press out all the water, then leave them overnight to dry completely
- Cut the pepper into small cubes and place a heavy bowl or plate and a weight on them to draw out the water
- The next day, mix the beans, pepper, walnuts, garlic, and salt and put them in a jar, then add oil to cover them
- Close the jar tightly and leave it for one week until it is ready to eat
- After opening the jar you can store the pickled green beans in the refrigerator
