Chocolate Cake
A very easy chocolate cake everyone will love, especially children. A cocoa-flavored sponge is coated with a rich chocolate sauce.

Chocolate cake ... a very nice recipe — chocolate inside the cake and chocolate sauce on top.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 cup liquid milk
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- Chocolate sauce:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons powdered milk
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee (Nescafé)
- Whipped chantilly cream, beaten and mixed with cocoa for the filling

Method
- Whisk the eggs with sugar and vanilla until the color lightens and the mixture thickens.
- Add the oil and milk and whisk, then add the flour mixed with baking powder and cocoa.
- Fold the chocolate cake batter gently from bottom to top.
- Pour the batter into a tin greased with a little butter and dusted with flour.
- Bake the chocolate cake for half an hour or longer depending on the oven at 160°C.
- Let the cake cool at room temperature while you prepare the sauce.
- Blend the chocolate sauce ingredients in a blender until smooth; if the sauce is very thick, add a little water and oil to reach the desired consistency.
- Slice the cake horizontally into two layers after it cools and fill with cream.
- Stack the layers, then spread cream on the top and sides as well.
- Chill it briefly in the refrigerator to set the cream.
- Pour the chocolate sauce over the cold cake and wait for the sauce to set in the fridge, then serve the chocolate cake.
