Tuna Loaf
Tuna loaf is a delicious, easy-to-make recipe that can be prepared for special occasions and family gatherings. It tastes great, looks beautiful, and only requires a little care when assembling the ingredients.
Ingredients

- 12 slices of soft brown toast bread
- 4 medium carrots, peeled and grated
- 2 medium tomatoes, cut into slices
- 8 to 10 black olives
- 1/2 bunch parsley, chopped
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 packages of creamy Philadelphia cheese, at room temperature (2×200 g)
- 2 cans tuna
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 to 3 pickled cucumbers, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon capers
- A pinch of white pepper
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix the cheese with the tuna, drained of oil and flaked. Add the garlic, onion, pickles, capers, lemon juice, and white pepper. Stir well to make a tuna filling.
- Arrange 4 slices of toast close together on a long serving platter, then spread with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and spoon over half the tuna filling.

- Spread 4 more slices of toast with mayonnaise and place them over the first layer of tuna-covered toast, with the mayonnaise side sticking to the tuna filling.
- Spread the tuna filling over the toast slices, then cover with 4 more toast slices, also spread with mayonnaise, with the mayonnaise side sticking to the tuna filling.
- Press the toast slices down well, then spread the sides and top of the loaf with the remaining mayonnaise.
- Press the grated carrots onto the sides of the tuna loaf and garnish the loaf with the chopped parsley, tomato slices, and black olives.
- Chill the tuna loaf in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours, then cut into slices and serve.Timers: 120 min
