Roasted Leg of Lamb

  • 1 leg of lamb, bone-in
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika
  • Grilling spice blend
  • Ginger powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Half a small cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. We make lines with the tip of a knife along the length of the leg
  2. Mix all the ingredients, then rub the leg with the mixture on all sides
  3. Leave the leg to marinate for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight
    Timers: 180 min
  4. Place the leg in a baking tray and wrap it tightly with aluminum foil
  5. Put the tray in the preheated oven on the middle rack and leave the leg for 3 and a half hours over medium to low heat
  6. After the time has passed and you have made sure the meat is cooked through, uncover the leg and discard the foil, then brown it until it takes on a nice color and dries on the outside
  7. Serve the roasted leg of lamb with roasted vegetables or rice
