Ingredients

- 2 cups flour
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 200 grams soft butter
- 1 egg
- A pinch of vanilla
- Pastry Cream
- 2 and a half cups water
- 5 tablespoons powdered milk
- Half a cup flour
- ¾ cup sugar
- Lemon zest
- Vanilla
- How to prepare the pastry cream
- Continue stirring the mixture until it thickens and sets, making sure no lumps form.
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Beat the egg with vanilla and sugar until the sugar dissolves well.
- On the side, rub the butter into the flour, then add the egg, sugar, and vanilla mixture and knead with your fingertips until you obtain a cohesive dough.
- Wrap the tart dough in kitchen plastic wrap and refrigerate for about half an hour.
- After the required time, place the tart dough into small tart tins or into a large pan as desired.
- Prick the dough slightly with a fork after rolling it out to prevent it from puffing up during baking.
- Put the small tart tins or the large pan into a preheated oven at 180°C until the edges brown... approximately 12 minutes.Timers: 12 min
- When the tart dough is ready and baked, decorate it with cold pastry cream and fruit as desired.
- Pastry cream (crème pâtissière):
- 2 and a half cups water
- 5 tablespoons powdered milk
- Half a cup flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- Grated lemon zest
- 1 egg
- Vanilla
- Pastry cream preparation method:
- Beat the ingredients well while cold, then place them over low heat, stirring constantly.
