Loubia with Bulgur

Ingredients

- Half a kilo (500 g) fine green beans, trimmed and washed
- 1 large dry onion, chopped
- Vegetable oil
- 3 large ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup coarse brown bulgur
- 1 cup hot water
- Salt
- Hot pepper to taste

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- In a pot, sauté the chopped onion in oil until it turns slightly golden
- Add the trimmed and washed green beans and sauté, cover the pot and stir every so often
- When the green beans soften, add the chopped tomato and stir a little
- When the tomato softens, add hot water and the bulgur
- Cover the pot again and leave it over medium heat until the green beans with bulgur are cooked — bulgur usually needs 15 to 20 minutesTimers: 20 min
