Pan-Fried Biftak Beef
An easy homemade biftak beef recipe with just a few ingredients and a simple paprika-based marinade. Serve with salad, potatoes and sautéed vegetables.
Homemade biftak beef—simple marinade that you will definitely enjoy.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 500 g biftak beef pieces
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tbsp plain yogurt
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp paprika (sweet red pepper powder)
- Sauce
- Juice of a lemon
- A knob of butter (about 1 tsp)

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Marinate the biftak meat for one hour in vinegar, yogurt, oil and paprika
- Heat the skillet and fry the biftak on both sides until browned. Do not flip from the first side to the second until the first side has browned and you are sure the juices have dried from the meat
- When the biftak pieces are browned on both sides, add lemon juice and a knob of butter. When the butter melts, turn off the heat — this will create a sauce
- Serve the biftak alongside salad, potatoes and sautéed vegetables lightly fried in a little butter — vegetables as desired
