A very easy homemade Despacito kunafa recipe that doesn't need the oven! The recipe is explained step by step... try it and you'll love it.

Ingredients

  • Half a kilo vermicelli kunafa
  • 5 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 200 grams butter
  • 3 tablespoons Lotus spread, melted in a quarter cup of liquid milk
  • The cream :

Method

  1. Grind the ready-made vermicelli kunafa very finely to make sure it becomes smooth; you can do this by hand or with a food processor
  2. Add the powdered sugar to the ground kunafa and mix well until the sugar is evenly distributed, then add the melted butter and mix again thoroughly
  3. Place the kunafa mixture over the heat, stirring constantly until it toasts and changes color, then set it aside to cool
  4. When the kunafa has cooled, melt the Lotus spread with the liquid milk and add it to the kunafa
  5. Whip the liquid cream until you get a thick mixture
  6. Add the melted Lotus spread and stir until well combined
  7. When it is time to serve, place the serving plate or even a cup or glass if you decide to serve Despacito kunafa in cups, then layer the ingredients
  8. That is, first add a layer of kunafa, then Lotus cream, then another layer of kunafa, and garnish with Lotus spread as desired
