Ingredients
- 1 liter whole milk
- 1 container cooking cream for desserts or 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 5 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 mastic tears
- 3 tablespoons orange blossom water
- For garnish:
- Pistachios, lime blossom, and nuts soaked in water and drained, or as desired

Method
- Mix all the ingredients cold except the sweetened condensed milk (add it when the mixture heats up)... if using cream, mix it with the other ingredients too
- Place the mixture over the heat and stir constantly so it does not stick to the pot
- Pound the mastic until it becomes powder, and when the mixture thickens and is ready, add the powdered mastic and orange blossom water, mix well, and turn off the heat
- Pour the muhallabia into serving cups and decorate as desired
- Let it cool at room temperature, then place it in the refrigerator to chill before serving
