How to Make Naked Tres Leches Cake
Naked cake... 3 layers of light cake soaked with syrup and filled with cream and strawberries... This cake is very delicious, and what makes it special is that it tastes like a bakery cake even though it is simply decorated.

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 3 cups cake flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 sticks butter or 226 g
- 1 cup liquid milk
- 5 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Syrup or cake soaking liquid
- 3/4 cup liquid milk
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup coconut milk or any milk of choice
- Cream
- Whipping cream for desserts or buttercream, as desired
- 1 cup powdered sugar if the cream is not sweet enough
- Filling
- Strawberries, canned or fresh

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Sift the sugar and the flour into a separate bowl.
- In another bowl, beat the butter and add the sugar in batches; continue beating for about 10 minutes until the sugar dissolves.Timers: 10 min
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites, then begin adding the yolks gradually while beating.
- Add the vanilla and continue beating.
- Add the flour and milk in batches and beat.
- In another bowl, whip the egg whites until thick, then fold them into the first mixture with a spoon or spatula without beating.
- Grease the cake pan with butter and dust it lightly with flour, then pour the batter into it.
- Place the pan in the oven at 180°C for 45 to 50 minutes until cooked.Timers: 50 min
- Meanwhile, prepare the cream for the filling: whip the cream, and add 1 cup of powdered sugar if it is not sweet enough.
- Chill the whipped cream in the refrigerator until cool before using.
- Let the cake cool completely before decorating, and meanwhile prepare the syrup by mixing all the syrup ingredients together well.
- Slice the cake horizontally into 3 equal layers.
- Syrup the first layer with 1/2 cup of syrup, then spread a layer of cream and distribute some strawberries.
- Place the second layer over the decorated first layer and repeat the same steps until the cake is fully filled and decorated.
- Chill the naked cake in the refrigerator for several hours, preferably until the next day before serving.
