Batata Harra recipe

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1 large potato
- 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro
- Hot red pepper, to taste
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt
- Juice of half a lemon
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Cut the potatoes into medium to small cubes and deep-fry them in hot oil until cooked, taking care they do not brown or get crispy.
- Crush the garlic with the peppers and a pinch of salt.
- In a skillet, sauté the garlic and peppers in olive oil for only two minutes over medium heat until fragrant.
- Add the fried potatoes and toss for two minutes.
- Add coarsely chopped cilantro and stir for two minutes.
- Sprinkle a little salt and lemon juice, toss, and then turn off the heat immediately.
- Serve Batata Harra as a hot appetizer or at room temperature.
