Chicken Fajitas
Chicken fajitas are a very handy Mexican dish that became widely popular. An easy, quick recipe — the instructions include a link to make guacamole.

Ingredients

- Chicken breast, sliced into strips
- 8 onions, sliced
- 3 sweet bell peppers, sliced (mixed colors)
- 3 hot red peppers
- Pinch garlic powder
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed or minced
- Oil as needed
- Lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons oregano or dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup corn
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fajita seasoning
- Mozzarella cheese

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- In a bowl, combine the sliced onions, garlic, sliced bell peppers, sugar and lemon juice. Add salt, hot pepper, black pepper and oregano, then mix.
- Add the sliced chicken to the bowl and mix all ingredients until well combined.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the chicken fajita mixture for about two hours so the chicken absorbs the flavors.
- Heat a deep frying pan over the stove and cook the fajita mixture, stirring, until the chicken changes color.
- Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on top and keep cooking until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Serve the fajitas in French bread rolls or fajita wraps with shredded lettuce and guacamole sauce.
