Rice Pudding (Rice with Milk)
A homemade rice pudding recipe that's very popular with kids. A traditional, wholesome dessert that can be taken to school as a healthy alternative to sweets.

Ingredients

- 4 liters milk
- 2 1/2 cups rice, washed and soaked
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons orange blossom water
- 2 tablespoons rose water
- 5 pieces mastic, ground
- 1.5 liters water
- Garnish
- Pistachios
- Lemon blossom

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Place the milk over low heat until it comes to a boil, then add the water and the rice.
- Stir the mixture occasionally and keep it over low heat until the rice is tender.
- Add the sugar, orange blossom water, rose water, and mastic, and stir.
- Let the rice pudding mixture simmer on the stove for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat.Timers: 10 min
- Pour the rice pudding into serving glasses and let it cool, then garnish with pistachios and lemon blossom.
