Chicken with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

- 6 pieces chicken breasts or boneless thighs
- Salt
- White pepper
- 1 carton of liquid cooking cream
- 1/2 kilo mushrooms, sliced
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- 1 tablespoon gravy
- A pinch dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon oil or ghee, as desired

Method

- Cut the washed, drained chicken into steak-like slices and pound them until they become wider and thinner. Put a little oil in the pan and fry the seasoned chicken pieces with salt and white pepper until cooked.
- In a deep pot, put the oil or ghee and add the garlic powder and onion powder, then the mushrooms and sauté until the mushrooms' water evaporates. Add the cream and stir. Dissolve the gravy in 1/2 cup of water and add it over the cream. Sprinkle white pepper and dried thyme, then add the chicken pieces and let the chicken simmer with the mushroom sauce for about 5 minutes.Timers: 5 min
