  • 1 kg deboned, skinless chicken
  • Mushrooms (to taste)
  • Grated cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • Lettuce
  • Corn
  • Baguette bread
  • For marinating the chicken:
  • 1 cup cooking cream or 1 cup milk
  • Vinegar (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • A pinch of oregano
  • Salt
  • White pepper
  • Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Note:
  • Do not put mayonnaise inside the sandwich before toasting because heating mayonnaise can sometimes cause foodborne illness.

Method

  1. First, put the chicken in a bowl and soak it in water with salt for 10 minutes, then drain it, rub it with tahini, rinse it with water, and leave it in a colander in the fridge to drain well

  2. When it has drained well, cut the chicken into lengthwise strips
  3. In a bowl, combine mustard, cream, white spice, black pepper, garlic powder, a pinch of oregano, and salt, and mix well. Then marinate the chicken slices for two hours or more in the fridge
  4. After the time has passed, heat a little oil in a skillet, add the chicken, and sauté over medium heat until they are fully cooked
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet, and in the same skillet fry only the mushrooms
  6. Start assembling the sandwiches: open the baguette and spread a little cheese, then top with chicken slices and mushrooms
  7. Toast the baguette on the grill for about 5 minutes until it takes a nice color, then open it and spread a little mayonnaise, chopped lettuce, pickles, and corn
