How to Make Beef Burgers Without Eggs
A burger is the ambassador of American cuisine to the world. It is a delicious recipe, but it becomes exceptional when the meat is prepared at home and without eggs. Nothing better.
Beef burgers... who doesn't love them?!!! They are famous and we often make them for the kids, so we must give them the tastiest and best! The way to do that is by preparing the burger mixture at home instead of buying it ready-made.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1 kilo finely ground beef
- 1/4 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 cup ground rusks or toasted bread
- 2 tablespoons rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce* - optional (or soy sauce)
- *The sauce gives the meat the desired tenderness instead of eggs
- 1/4 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon burger seasoning (if unavailable, it consists of: sweet pepper + salt + black pepper + nutmeg + cinnamon + dried coriander)
- 1 teaspoon salt (if using barbecue sauce; if using soy sauce, reduce the salt even more)
- To make cheese-stuffed burgers
- To make cheese burger patties, shape a little of the meat into a ball
- Flatten it and add a quantity of mozzarella cheese, then close it and roll it into a ball again

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Using a food processor or by hand, mix all the hamburger seasoning ingredients with the finely ground beef.
- Use a burger press or any other means such as a round cheese tin lined with kitchen plastic to shape the burger patties to the desired thickness.
- Fry the burgers in a pan or grill them in the oven or on the grill.
- Serve them in burger buns alongside french fries, pickles, mayonnaise coleslaw and ketchup.
- To make cheeseburger patties... shape a little of the meat into a ball.
- Open it and place some mozzarella cheese inside then close it and re-roll it into a ball.
- Place it inside the press to give it the burger patty shape.
